About Me
Welcome and thank you for taking this step to learning more about my work!
I am committed to providing non-judgemental and compassionate counselling to those who are looking to gain a better understanding of themselves. My approach is client-centred: I aim to meet you where you are in your journey and tailor my approach so that it best suits your needs. In general, my work is shaped by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theories, trauma-informed approaches, and systemic theories.

I am passionate about my work with clients and genuinely curious about how I can help each person uniquely. As a therapist, I learn so much from my clients and feel grateful to interact with a variety of people on a daily basis.

I completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology and Religious Studies at Queen's University (Kingston). I also hold a Master's Degree in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University (Ottawa) with a concentration in Couple and Family Therapy. I have experience working with both couples and individuals through clinical training, 4 years of private practice, and over 5 years of experience in crisis work with Telephone Aid Line Kingston and Kids Help Phone.

I am licensed as a Registered Psychotherapist, 009129 with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I am also a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Professional Member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). In order to facilitate professional development, I participate in regular supervision with a senior practitioner. My current supervisor is Kathryn Guthrie RP, RMFT-SM.

You may also come across my name in affiliation with the wonderful Tri Health Clinic in Kingston. I spend about two days per week there providing general and sex therapy as an independent contractor; working under the supervision of clinic director, Dr. Jenn Bossio.
